Brief Update!

Here is a very brief little update!  In 5 hours we will be at the hospital preparing for an induction so we can finally see our little Jaxon's face!  I am excited, anxious, and also nervous!  I think this is the most nervous I have been with a delivery!  I am just worried about his size and hoping I can deliver him myself without a c-section!  I will post pictures once he is here, but for now I must "try" to get some sleep!

2 days to 40 weeks

Here is an update on what is going on in the Coker household!  I have 2 days left til my due date of 40 weeks.  It seems that Jaxon has decided to make himself at home for a bit longer than expected!  All 3 of the other kids were born 5 days early and here we are at 2 days and he is still snug as a bug in a rug!  We were desperately hoping he would make it here for Christmas but no :(.  Now I am desperately hoping he is here at least by his due date but the closer we get the more worried I get.  Houston weighed 8lb 11oz at 5 days early.  I guesstimated that Jaxon would be right at 9lbs if he was 5 days early but now I don't know how big he is getting.  If I go to my due date, and even now, he could already be nearing 10lbs.  I am getting a little worried as I don't want him to get so big that I can't deliver him on my own!  I truly do not want a c-section.  I am partially scared of them.  I have never had an operation in my life (aside from my wisdom teeth).  I don't know what to expect of my own body except what I have heard from other people.  However, no two people are alike!  I guess I will just have to wait and see!  Please pray for me everyone!  Thank you!

Just under 3 months left to go!

This pregnancy has gone by so fast!  There have been some bumps in the road, including severe headaches, dizzy spells and very uncomfortable back pain!  However, for some reason, those things have not "slowed" my pregnancy down.  I feel like it has just been flying by!  So far, the headaches and dizzy spells are gone!  The back pain is being worked on but is much better!  I have been in physical therapy for the back pain and they have been working on my back both with chiropractics and physical therapy exercises!  I am so grateful for all they have done for my back!
Well, It has been a while since my last blog but we have finally chosen a name for our little guy!  His name is going to be Jaxon Lee Coker!  I was so happy when we were finally able to like, agree and decide on a name.  I have been getting so nervous as time got closer that we would end up at delivery day and not have a name chosen yet.  Well, those nerves have been relaxed as we both love the name Jaxon and even the nick name Jax.
Now, for the most recent news, I had my 28 week appt just recently.  According to the measurements, my belly is measuring at 30 weeks instead of 28!  I am excited and nervous at the same time about that.  I am hoping that it means that he is actually due 2 weeks ahead of my due date (Dec. 28th).  That would give us plenty of time to be home and settled for Christmas!  I am nervous though, because it could mean that he is still due Dec. 28th and is just going to be a big baby!  That makes me nervous because I don't want him to get too big that I end up needing to have a c-section.  Well, I know I still have a little more time for them to figure all that out.  So, I am going to leave you all with that bit of an update and I will update with more info soon!

Girl or Boy?

So we find out in 6 days whether we are having a girl or a boy!  I have been praying ever since the day we found out, hoping this one will be a girl.  Hayli has been asking for a baby sister since the day Houston was born!  I feel obligated to give her a baby sister and yet I have no control over that.  All I can do it pray!  I am starting to get very anxious and nervous as the day gets closer to finding out what this little baby is.  We already have names picked out for each but I am very partial to the girl's name Allee Renay Coker!
