Changes!

I know I haven't posted anything in a while and I do apologize for that!  There have been a lot of changes going on in the past few months.  We moved into our new home with a nice big yard at the end of July!  Then, I spent the month of August getting unpacked and getting the kids registered and ready for school!  Then I spent September getting the kids started in school and adjusting to the new daily routine and also still currently in the middle of doctor's appointments at the Endocrinologist for Houston's growth hormone deficiency all the while dealing with poor Jaxon cutting teeth.  Then, last but not least, I have been setting up Austin's birthday party that we will be having this Saturday (Sept. 29th).

Needless to say I have been a busy momma!  Jaxon is going to be 9 months old on the 30th and still has no teeth yet but I can tell they are giving him quite a fit!  I can't believe that Austin will be 5 years old this Saturday either!  My babies are growing up too fast!  Jaxon is crawling and pulling up and standing up and he is even balancing himself briefly (with no hands) before lowering himself back to the floor!

Houston has a test coming up at the Endocrinologist that is called the hormone stimulation test.  This test will show if the pituitary gland in his brain is working correctly to produce the growth hormones needed to make him grow.  I am a bit nervous about this test as it has to be done while fasting and the test can last up to 5 hours!  They administer 2 different medications.  After the first medication, they will draw his blood every 30 minutes to check the growth hormone levels.  Then they will administer the second medication and repeat the the hormone checks again!  What worries me the most about this is these medications can make Houston sick to his stomach!  He also is supposed to sit still with little excitement and movement during the whole test.  He is only 2 years old so I'm not sure how well things are going to go but all I can do is pray that God gets him and us through it as easily as possible!  With all of that said, here are some pics of our new home and yard!
